Global cloud communications platform, Infobip, has announced that it has launched a data centre in Indonesia, ID1. ID1, which is located in West Java, will support the digital innovation capabilities of businesses within Indonesia and the Asia Pacific.
In a press release statement, Infobip noted that this move to launch ID1 was aligned with the strategic direction of the Indonesian government’s Digital Roadmap 2021-2024, which aims at developing inclusive, safe, and reliable digital and connectivity infrastructure with high-quality services across Indonesia.
ID1 adds to Infobip’s existing collection of data centres across the globe, and will complement Infobip’s data transfers of over 4.5 Gbps between its data centres worldwide. The 1D1 data centre also offers a full range of premium colocation, interconnection, and support services.
Infobip reports that ID1 will enhance Infobip’s full-stack Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings, which are targeted at retail, BFSI, logistics, F&B, fintech, telemedicine and public sector enterprises in the region.
