Indonesia is exploring the possibility of providing visa-free entry to citizens of 20 nations, a list that may include countries such as the United States, China, Australia, India, South Korea, Germany, the United Kingdom, and France.
The objective behind this initiative, as announced by Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno on Thursday, is to stimulate tourism and bolster the nation’s economy.
The government aims to finalise the selection of countries eligible for this visa waiver within the next month, aligning with the president’s directive to explore measures that can enhance economic growth, promote tourism, and attract investments, as reported by Reuters.
